South Carolina hired a Special Teams coordinator as their head coach. They will never be taken seriously in football, and that appears to be exactly what they want.

Come back and say that after he knocks Saban's #&%^ in the dirt...

I must say, I was one of the loudest detractors of the hire. But as the preseason has progressed, I've been more and more impressed. And he's got a super diverse background and has coached extensively on both sides of the ball. He's coached the defensive secondary, linebackers, Running Backs, tight ends and special teams. He was assistant head coach under Lincoln Riley. So to say he was a special teams coordinator is true, but he was much more than that.
