Osborne’s “greatness” in the 90’s was a direct result of Switzer leaving the arena.
Osborne’s overuse of Nebraska’s partial qualifier loophole and his overlooking of insidious behavior of his players was disgusting, all in an attempt to beat Switzer’s machine at OU. Switzer absolutely owned Osborne.
They should have never fired Solich and they severed their recruiting pipeline when they left the big 12. Frost vs. Osborne is an apples & oranges comparison.

Lol Switzer was as dirty as they come. OU fans trying to act high and mighty about Nebraska is ridiculous.
