Special Ed is 1-4 against Alabama, and the total score is 159 AL to 73 LSU. 2/5 of his games have been shutouts or 40%. I hope LSU never fires good ole Ed. We'll keep saying

He's 1-7 against Alabama. When you ignore his Ole Miss record you buy into the narrative that O has somehow reformed as a coach.

I mean, does it really matter who the LSU coach is? Other than like 1996-2007, Bama has never had a problem beating even the best LSU teams. It's a mental factor because Bama usually isn't THAT much more talented than LSU.
The massive obsession and insecurity from our fanbase bleeds into the program itself.
