I didn't watch him play but I know if McCarron is the #2 still, oy. I loved McCarron in college with Bama but the NFL game is the big boys so if he can't beat out ole AJ, doesn't look good long term.

There was a quote from D. Orlando Ledbetter On Twitter yesterday saying McCarron was “god awful”. I say roll with Franks just to see how it goes. It’s not like we will win many games with either of Ryan goes down.

Yea, I got to thinking how screwed we would be if Ryan got any kinda injury. He is getting pretty old in NFL terms.
Then again, 99% of all teams in the NFL would be screwed if they had to roll with a backup.

That means .32 teams would be ok.
Just giving you a hard time.
Serious question: which teams would at least competitive with a backup?
Buffalo?
New England?
SF?
Jets?
Some teams are going to be bad no matter what so the backup might not be as big a drop off.

I think teams without an established QB would be ok. Where there's probably not much separation from #1 or #2. Hell, I'd throw the Saints in that bucket.

I was thinking the same thing about them.
Maybe even the Bears with Dalton and Fields.
