The Top247 rankings for the Class of 2023 were updated on Wednesday and include several targets being pursued by Sam Pittman and the Arkansas Razorbacks.

Here's a look at where the Hogs' notable recruits stand in the rankings:

quote:

No. 26 - Cedric Baxter Jr. | RB | Orlando (Fla.) Edgewater - Baxter rose 14 spots and went from a 94 to a 95 overall. He made an unofficial trip to Fayetteville last July and attended Arkansas' win over Texas A&M in Arlington last September.

No. 42 - Chandavian Bradley | E | Platte City (Mo.) - Bradley visited Northwest Arkansas for the Razorbacks' win over Missouri in late November. He has one Crystal Ball logged thus far, in favor of USC. Bradley saw no change in his ranking this time around.

No. 45 - Johntay Cook II | WR | DeSoto (Texas) - Cook, who made a trip to see the Hogs last year, also saw no change in this round of rankings.

No. 57 - Markis Deal | OL | Garland (Texas) Naaman Forest - Deal, who visited the Razorbacks last fall and is expected back this spring, rose from No. 74 in the nation and moved from a 93 to a 94 grade.

No. 62 - Bai Jobe | E | Norman (Okla.) Community Christian - Jobe also rose from a 93 to 94 and moved up three spots in the overall rankings. He camped at Arkansas last June but things have been quiet of late.

No. 63 - Charles Jagusah | OL | Rock Island (Ill.) Alleman - Like Deal, Jagusah also saw a big jump in the rankings as he goes from 92 to 63 with a grade increase from 93 to 94. Jagusah will be back in Fayetteville for a second visit later this spring.

No. 79 - Isaiah Robinson | OL | Arlington (Texas) Lamar - Robinson made a big jump as well, going from No. 100 all the way to 79th overall while moving from a 92 to a 93. He was scheduled to visit Fayetteville in January but did not make the trip.

No. 84 - Tackett Curtis | LB | Many (La.) - Curtis has visited the Razorbacks a couple of times and will likely return to Fayetteville at some point. However, he's focusing his spring trips on places he hasn't visited yet. Curtis went from No. 109 to No. 84 and moved up to a 93 grade this time around.

No. 85 - Luke Hasz | TE | Bixby (Okla.) - Hasz was previously listed at No. 72 but had some new targets pass him in this round of rankings. He kept his same overall grade of 93, however. Hasz committed to the Razorbacks in January.

No. 92 - Madden Sanker | OL | Douglasville (Ga.) South Paulding - Sanker moves down just a few spots from No. 89 but also keeps his grade of 93. He will give Arkansas an official visit in June.

No. 123 - Braxton Myers | S | Coppell (Texas) - Myers, who is expected to visit Arkansas this spring, moves down 17 spots this time around. He has one Crystal Ball prediction logged in favor of Clemson.

No. 127 - Micah Tease | WR | Tulsa (Okla.) Washington - This Tulsa native drops a few spots from No. 121 in the previous rankings. Tease has been on Arkansas' campus a couple of times.

No. 144 - Shamar Easter | TE | Ashdown (Ark.) - Like Hasz, Easter had a few new targets pass him in the rankings but didn't necessarily "drop" from No. 126. He also kept his player grade of 92 overall.

No. 150 - Kelby Collins | DL | Gardendale (Ala.) - Collins, who is expected to visit with Arkansas cornerback commitment Dallas Young later this spring, goes from No. 134 to 150 this time around.

No. 159 - Treyaun Webb | RB | Jacksonville (Fla.) - Webb, who has received Crystal Ball picks logged for Georgia, Oklahoma, and South Carolina, will be on Arkansas' campus this Saturday. He moves down 12 spots compared to the previous ranking.

No. 166 - Mikal Harrison-Pilot | WR | Temple (Texas) - Harrison-Pilot is one of Arkansas' most wanted wideout targets in the 2023 cycle. He moved up 5 spots in this round.

No. 168 - Avery Johnson | QB | Maize (Kan.) - Johnson, who has made three unofficial trips to see the Hogs, was previously listed at No. 153 overall.

No. 170 - Jamel Johnson | S | Arlington (Texas) Seguin - This Texas commitment is considering an Arkansas visit this spring. Johnson was previously ranked No. 159 overall.

No. 182 - Roderick Kearney | OL | Orange Park (Fla.) - Continuing the trend of Arkansas O-line targets moving up in the rankings, Kearney went from No. 217 all the way to No. 182 this time. He is expected to be in Fayetteville later this spring.

No. 184 - Robert Stafford | ATH | Melbourne (Fla.) Eau Gallie - Stafford has visited Arkansas twice. He moves down 16 spots in this round.

No. 189 - Malachi Singleton | QB | Kennesaw (Ga.) North Cobb - Singleton went up 9 spots this time around. He visited Fayetteville last fall and will return in April.

No. 209 - Kayin Lee | CB | Ellenwood (Ga.) Cedar Grove - Lee, who recently de-committed from Georgia, was previously listed at No. 197. Arkansas is considered one of the teams in strong contention to land his signature.

No. 224 - Kayden McDonald | DL | Suwanee (Ga.) North Gwinnett - McDonald moves up one spot this time, and he'll have his entire family with him next week when he visits Fayetteville.

No. 233 - Jalen Thompson | DL | Detroit (Mich.) Cass Tech - Thompson, who is staying in touch with Arkansas on a weekly basis lately, moves down from No. 212.

No. 235 - Rashid Williams | WR | Pittsburg (Calif.) - Williams, who said last week that he'll be visiting Arkansas in April, went from outside the Top247 to No. 235 this time.

No. 236 - John Randle Jr. | ATH | Wichita (Kan.) Heights - Randle made the trip to Fayetteville last fall. He was previously at No. 193 overall.

Both of Arkansas’ commitments in the Rivals250 dropped in the latest update to the 2023 rankings.

Tight ends Luke Hasz and Shamar Easter are now the No. 78 and No. 151 overall prospects in the country, respectively, according to Rivals.

Hasz, a Bixby, Okla., product who was once committed to Oklahoma and is continuing to take official visits elsewhere despite his pledge to the Razorbacks, fell seven spots to his current spot at No. 78, but that’d still make him the highest-ranked tight end to sign with Arkansas in the Rivals era.

The highest at this point is C.J. O’Grady, who was No. 90 overall coming out of Fayetteville in the 2015 class, followed closely by Pulaski Academy product Hunter Henry, who was No. 102 in the 2013 class.

Right behind those three players in terms of highest-ranked tight ends to sign with or commit to Arkansas is Easter, whose ranking has continued to drop. The Ashdown native fell another 39 spots from the most recent ranking and is way down from No. 84, where he was ranked at the time of his commitment.

It’s also worth noting that wide receiver Anthony Evans III, who backed off his pledge to the Razorbacks in April, made his Rivals250 debut at No. 167 in his update. He is now a 5.9 four-star after being a 5.6 three-star while committed to Arkansas.

OL Madden Sanker: No. 95 (up 2)

OL Miles McVay: No. 102 (down 46)

OL Charles Jagusah: No. 122 (down 6)

CB Avery Stuart: No. 196 (down 20)

ATH Micah Tease: No. 203 (up 11)

LB Karmelo Overton: No. 212 (down 16)

DT Markis Deal: No. 221 (down 18)

Several Arkansas commitments saw movement in the latest Top247 rankings, which were released on Monday. Overall, the Razorbacks sit at No. 12 in the nation according to the Composite rankings but are still No. 7 in the nation per 247Sports.

Another recent pledge also saw a significant jump as four-star cornerback Jaylon Braxton of Frisco (Texas) Lone Star went from No. 211 to No. 146 in the country. Braxton jumped on board with Sam Pittman's program on July 9. He goes from a 91 to a 92 this time around.
