Adrian Peterson was my favorite. I’ve seen a lot of good ones but every time he touched the ball you just knew something good was gonna happen

I remember the first time he played against Texas as a True Freshman man child..Holy Crap, never seen any running back hit the corner and turn the jets on and get up field that fast ...I remember feeling Texas was in some deep shite in the Red River Rivalry as long as he played for OU..

He might be the only RB that was NFL ready right out of high school..He was a beast..

I am going to go with a little different answer here and say Jordan Shipley.

Oh yes, I remember him. He burned us twice, I think.

He burned everybody 2 or 3 times a game...He had the slickest double move that could just leave DB's standing flat footed wondering what the heck just happened as he cruised down the field 5 to 10 yards ahead of them..

Bosworth, mentioning that name will start a fight in parts of Texas lol.

Guy couldn’t play in today’s game. He would be penalized for taunting or unsportsmanlike every play.

I was about 8 years old then and everyone around here my age had that haircut except me. Dad would have kicked my azz if I’d even thought about asking for it.

Was good times. OU/Nebraska was always a huge game Thanksgiving week every year, fall break from school, just old enough to enjoy deer hunting. What more could an 8 year old OU fan ask for

I always enjoyed watching Trent Williams maul poeple. He’s done the same thing in the NFL. I was just amazed to see how agile he was, yet so massive. That gets you paid in the NFL.

Derrick Johnson was damn good. Quentin Jammer. Earl Thomas, of course. Casey Hampton.

Texas had a white D lineman who was a great football player several years back, and for the life of me I can't remember his name.

Jamelle Holieway:

1st ever true freshman QB to win a National Championship (1985). When the diva Troy Aikman left OU for UCLA, this kid stepped in and dazzled.

Don't you mean when the starter Aikman broke his ankle against Miami, Holieway stepped in and dazzled?

Aikman wasn't a diva and he was going to be on the bench after returning from his broken ankle because Switzer was sticking with the wishbone that just resulted in a NC.

This is a question better asked on TexAgs. They had recent threads dedicated to the A&M football teams pool party. I bet there was a box of tissue shortage in College Station.

That was actually pretty clever.
