Lincoln Riley knew about it after he came in and continued to play Mixon

I admittedly didn't read all 6 pgs and am jumping in with both feet into an established conversation.

However, Mixon (apparent human piece of shite) was drafted before Riley ever called a play as HC.

Stoops' slink off into the darkness seemed every bit to do with Mixon.

While he could have fallen on his moral sword and walked away, it was Stoops' call

Na, Riley was there when Mixon was playing. I don’t think the Mixon deal had anything to do with Stoops retiring. Stoops father passed at a pretty young age, Bob wasn’t looking all that great the last few years he was on the sideline. Riley was sitting there and Bob thought he was capable of leading the program. Bob was able to retire in a positive light and just watch his sons play. The Mixon deal was terrible all the way around. He was punished and served his punishment, albeit it was not enough for some folk. He has not had a single issue since. Had it been my daughter, this wouldn’t be a discussion.
