Driving home from the Memphis area is the biggest pain the arse because its smooth sailing from my brother's house in Eudora (I take 69 to 22 to 45) then I hit the AL state line and get stuck behind three big rigs to make the last 70 miles of the drive slow as hell. Hopefully they'll fix that one day.

It is horrible from State Line to AL 158 on US 45. In fact, MS built our own 4 lane from State Line to Pascagoula, which is great but unfortunately does not help you if you are going to Mobile and beyond.

That stretch is terrible not to mention if you get behind a log truck. Then it is all over with. Then invariably it seems like it is always raining in Citronelle to make it even worse.

I can second that...but I did it regularly in the early 90's.
