I was really surprised they didn’t bring in a couple transfer OL either, the shite product that was on the field last year isn’t going to magically be way better.

I feel like I remember some of the beat guys saying they looked but the talent pool wasn’t really any better.

I think 7-8 OL leave after this season so that’s certainly part of it. Bringing more upperclassmen OL to an extremely upperclassmen OL room takes away from other needs. They mostly addressed defense.

It’s fair to criticize the priority. That’s just my best guess on reasoning

Also worth noting that the OL is playing partly out of position. This is, after all, a practice scrimmage. We don’t know the assignments or personnel. Probably premature to make assumptions
