right, plus, The Big 12 has a better reputation of being a legitimate football conference. I didn't even know what schools the AAC were till I looked it up.

Totally agree...The BIG 12 schools should go after BYU and then raid the AAC of it's better schools, not the other way around. Then just wait for the PAC to dissolve and take leftovers they want from that conference..That has to be a better option, right?

They need to position themselves as the most powerful of the non Power conferences to get a decent TV contract and even possibly get a playoff spot if the College football playoff expands to 12 teams.
