Idk if it would have been that drastic, we were 2nd in the SEC in scoring that year so it's not like offense was our problem. Defense still wouldn't have been good enough. We weren't stopping Mahomes either way but probably would have beaten Toledo.
He likely wouldn't have had Alex Collins who was a big part of that team though.

We don't lose to Toledo and with better coaching, Brandon Allen beats Tech by not throwing the ball in the stands on every play. They don't kick a field goal against State as Brandon Allen wins the game with a touchdown pass on fourth and short.
Bobby would find another RB just as good. Defense was good enough but the lack of coaching lost them winnable games.
