Honestly for sips they are going to think they were let out of prison after the B12. Most B12 stadiums are basically glorified HS's in atmosphere, they are all small, and are just "meh". Vandy is crap of course but at least it is in Nashville. Mizzou is nothing great but it's still decent. All the rest range from unique and interesting to absolutely epic.

Texas has an aesthetically great stadium. Lots of luxury stuff. In the end though it is basically the NFL team for Austin and for most attending it is a social event (I live in Austin). You can tell they are much more interested in advertising than atmosphere. For SEC folks I would recommend going to Texas for the first game if you can go. They like shiny objects and novelty so they will be excited for the first game or for a big game, as long as Texas is competitive. If Texas is losing though that place empties out in a hurry and everyone is running to drink beer at the tailgate or somewhere, they are insanely fair weathered fans.

OU is nice. Should be midlevel in the SEC. Have some cool stuff and its an interesting trip. Atmosphere is nice but not especially intimidating.

FWIW though, there is no doubt in my mind the atmosphere at Kyle Field when Texas comes for the first time again is going to be absolutely insane. Probably will cost more on Stubhub than the Super Bowl. Will be fun when A&M goes to DKR as well but as I mentioned the sips will have all left by halftime as they get taken to the woodshed.

Yeah, that's gonna be a must-see event when that happens.

Hopefully it will be half as entertaining and full of hate as the Egg Bowl has been of late. I'm all for the Iron Bowl and DSOR, but those rivalries are lacking the pure hate that the Egg Bowl has (along with the shenanigans on the field the last 5 yrs or so). Hopefully, that hate shows up Texas sized for that one.
