There won't be PODS
With the new change in college football, it’s time to get rid of those four games unless they go to a 9 game schedule with 4 pods, one permanent opponent in each pod and play another pod each year.
3 games each pod
3 permanent games
3 against another pod
This way if we go with the rumored pods, we solve this problem and play every team within 3 years.
Let’s use LSU for example
A&M, ole miss and state
3 permanent opponent, one from each pod
Florida, Arkansas, Alabama/Auburn
Then a pod that rotates every year. Easiest way to keep Bama-Tennessee, Auburn-uga, uga-Florida and the iron bowl

By the way, I’m tired of those four games determining everything

Well I suggest you are going to get disappointed. The older I get (I am 55), I kind of understand those 4 schools point of view. LSU says that because after Tulane left the SEC, we sort of lost that type of team. Even in 1984, some 18 years after Tulane left the SEC, I remember a total bench clearing brawl between LSU and Tulane players and some coaches and G/A's were taking swings.

Growing up on North shore, I remember rationale LSU and Tulane fans meeting in Uptown New Orleans and some PUB and the winning teams fans got to sit in wheelbarrows and the loosing teams fans had to push them from bar to bar all around Uptown New Orleans. Remember seeing that reported on by the late Hap Glaudi and Buddy D, etc.

If LSU still had that type of Rival game with Tulane, LSU fans would be wanting to maintain it the same way those 4 schools do.

Now I agree your POD system can keep those 4 games, but some rumors from some UGA beat writers that PODS may not be on the table any longer. Saw it on a DAWGpost.com video. I don't know how tuned in those guys are, maybe some UGA fans here can chime in.

I agree but we are going into uncharted territory with college football. Things are changing. It’s time to think outside the box because that’s what the conference is doing. I’m okay with anything except Bama and Auburn going to the east and LSU being stuck in the big12/swc with the two Mississippi schools. We are a charter member and could be regulated out west. Would hate to only play the teams in the east once every 4 years and only go to their place every 8.
