What happens when Texas does not get their way.

In the Big 12 they could hold most of the conference hostage financially, saying if they do not have their way they will leave (which maybe exactly what they are doing now.)

You think they would be dumb enough to try that in the SEC?

Move the SEC offices or we will leave
Move the SECCG or we will leave

I hope if Texas does join they are smarter than that, but if Texas AM is right, Texas is not.

Texas trying to do things is the least of the worry right now.

I guess people aren't understanding that they are about to 100% change college football forever and these are just the first steps. This isn't just about Texas coming to the SEC.

ESPN is using their large influence from the TV contracts to get it done. They just told the Big12 to frick off a few months ago because they have no plans of keeping that conference going.

It's not going to be college football anymore. No more G5 games, it's going to become a shitty arse NFL like product.

Don't be surprised when some current SEC teams start getting pushed out. Some towards the bottom likely won't make the cut.

Exactly, some of these programs won't know what hit them when it happens.
