I get what you are saying, but disagree. aTm was never going to let this happen quietly, regardless of whether we gave them advance notice. Advance notice would have only given them time to kill the deal in the state legislature. I have no problem with aTm advocating their position internally and privately, but we all know they were never going to do that. Their fan base is still so blinded by UT syndrome that they had to make a big public spectacle out of it to appease the boosters and fans.
