That gets really complicated really fast, especially projecting those out over multiple years and organizing them by week to make the most attractive tv schedules, which is what this is all about.

Lmao what? How is this any harder to schedule than pods? Basketball already does this.
The only difference is pods force Auburn to play UT every year because Alabama wants to. 3 permanent always Auburn to play Alabama and UGA every year while Alabama keeps the UT rivalry.

How is it complicated?
A1/B1/C1/D1 rivals
A2/B2/C2/D2 rivals
A3/B3/C3/D3 rivals
A4/B4/C4/D4 rivals
Not only do you play your pod members, you also play your other 3 rivals. There's 6 games each team will have annually.
