I guess it's possible. I haven't heard much about the logistics, only the possible arrangement. Would there be a 4-team playoff for SEC Championship? Two teams would end up with an 11-game SEC schedule and I don't necessarily see that happening

Or would they take the two best teams, because I can already foresee that being a problem in the event of ties

Sadly the SECCG is about to be as relevant as conference tournaments in basketball and baseball

You'ld pair up pods yearly & the winner of each duo is the SEC contestant.

Y1 - pods AB winner vrs. pods CD winner
Y2 - pods AC winner vrs. pods BD winner
Y3 - pods AD winner vrs. pods BC winner

The soonest you could see a repeat in the CG would be in 3 years.
