I don’t think the antics work on Porier. To much experience to many wars. Now Conor can knock anyone out at anytime but think it turns into a ground game and Conor gets submitted

I think it’s a hard choice. Personally, I love the way Conor fights, but Poirier is a hard matchup. Obviously Conor can knock anyone out with the left, but I think he needs to go back to a light front foot stance like he used until Khabib. For poirier, he carries a lot of muscle and is just a bigger guy in general than Conor, he does a great job of making his fights rough and does a lot of dirty boxing which works really well against Conors Karate/TKD based counter punching style.
All that said…I’m going with Conor!

Porier by doctor stoppage/TKO at the end of 1 broken ankle by Coner.
First round dominated by Porier and probably was gonna get much worse after the arm draining submission attempt by Conor when taken down.

Yeah, tough injury. Just heard Dana White say broken Tibia on the post show, surgery tomorrow.
I think that’s potentially the last we see of Conor. That’s a huge recovery and at the money he’s making, I just don’t know if he’s interested in a recovery like that and then getting back to fighting shape.

Seems like a large portion of his brand is remaining relevant. Wouldn’t surprise me if he gets into the novelty fights that Mayweather has labeled legal bank robbery. And rightfully so. Keep showing up until nobody pays for it

2 of the 3 judges judged the first round 10-8 Porier. Was going to be a long night for Conor because Dustin was lighting him up. That’s why Conor jump into the submission. Hate to see injuries like that but many have come back. Conor is still young if he has the desire to still be in the game he can but realistically he’s only beaten Cowboy in the past 3-4 years.

Jonesy he’s definitely a huge draw for non-MMA die yards but the classless antics are getting old. I don’t like Khabib but the things he said about his family and religion was way over the line. He’s a tired act and Khabib and now Porier has shut his mouth. The star is going dark. Was threatening Porter’s life even after the fight while sitting in on his arse with a broken ankle/leg.

Just one of the reasons I despise him. If he was witty, it would be tolerable. He is just a punk who goes around hitting old guys on bar stools and talking about somebody's wife. Money might buy fancy suits but it doesn't buy class.

If Conor hadn’t broken his leg there’s no doubt he would’ve been knocked out in round 2
