Recognized" titles are those titles the NCAA lists in their "NCAA OFFICIAL RECORDS BOOK". It's a very thick record book, you know, the kind made of paper!??

I know it well, why didn't you link it?

All their "recognized" national champions are listed online, too, if you're smart enough to look it up properly.

But, since the Gumps aren't smart enough, here.... LINK

Wait, why are you talking about the "very thick record book" published by the NCAA and then turn around and linking Wikipedia?

Why wouldn't you just link the "very thick record book"? They have this thing called a pdf and they can use it to put things like "very thick record books" in digital format so they can be put on the internet. You want to see it? (Careful it is very thick):

Very Thick NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision Recordbook

As was pointed out to you earlier, it lists Georgia with 6 like you said, but it lists Alabama with 23. So Georgia doesn't claim 4 that the NCAA "recognizes" and Alabama doesn't claim 5 that the NCAA "recognizes." Now what do you want to talk about?

This thread is hilarious.

Typical Bama dumbness.

You Gumps really DO lack reading comprehension skills. I'll leave you in your ignorance. It's more fun this way.

Indeed.

I say we only use AP & Coaches Poll titles to make sure we aren't giving away free titles.

Georgia has now dropped from 2 to 1.

Whoops.

Stupid as this sounds, I try to put myself in OP's shoes. What led to creation of the thread, why specifically ALABAMA?

I just figured he was scrolling through Georgia highlights on YouTube. That tricky recommendations algorithms was on his videos list then he accidentally clicks 2 and 26 after watching the Oklahoma game.
