You make some good points. I'll retract and reserve judgement until after this season. I'm still going to say I doubt Stingley amounts to Peterson, but this season will definitely tell the tale.

I tend to lean toward your opinion also because I think mentally PP approached the game in a way that produces more sustainable results. Stingley coasted last season and that’s not a good sign though he may be reinvigorated with a new DC.
