Well all this SEC hot air is well and good, but your defending SEC East Champions came out and got their asses handed to them by the bRuins.

They got their asses kicked in the trenches. Couldn't manage a win even after being gifted 4 picks (one a pick six!)

All this after USC comes to Fayetteville and Jordan-Hare and lays a whipping on the Hogs and Plains-Eagle-Tigers like an SEC team hasn't been able to in ages.

There is no "SEC Hegemony" when it comes to head to head competition vs. PAC 10 teams, because frankly, in the last 10 years, we've proven our teams will beat your teams more often than not.

These are the facts, and they are indisputable.

Actually, those are facts, but the points you are trying to make with them are disputable.

Tennessee lost their Offensive Coordinator, who many say was the key to their success, and lost their quarterback along with a few other key players. I figured they would still be good, but the fact that they aren't isn't all that suprising considering their circumstances. They still should have beaten UCLA, but your argument doesn't hold that much water.

What on earth are you talking about? LSU destroyed us that year just as bad as you guys did. Also, we sucked balls that year, we couldn't even score a touchdown on GEORGIA TECH in the next game after USC.

Do you think the Pac 10 is superior to the SEC?

Im asking, not starting a pissing contest. We all know thats pointless and the same arguments come up everytime, so this would be pointless on my part.

The SEC leads the Pac-10 overall 59-37-5 (.609)

The Pac 10 has alot of catching up to do. Seeing how the SEC has owned the PAC 10 historically. Even if the PAC 10 won the next 10 games head to head the SEC still owns the PAC 10 overall.

These are the facts, and they are indisputable.

I realize that the Southeastern (SEC) and Pacific Ten (Pac-10) conferences are probably more different, from one another, than any other two college football conferences. But I just don't get the jealously of the PAC 10 fans have against the SEC conference. Kinda of like Mexico (pac 10) trying to compare itself to the USA (SEC).

Is it b/c an eite team like USC (not south carolina but the trojans) deep down inside wants to be apart of an elite conference so if they win the conference championship game it will have a higer meaning? Or is it b/c fans here actually care about football and go to the games.

SEC made $127.2 million for the 2007-2008 fiscal year what did the PAC 10 make?

Yes UCLA beat Tenn., that must have made the PAC 10 fans with little man syndrome feel alittle better. But do you know what was actually a joke and very pathetic about that game? All the empty seats at the Rose Bowl stadium. That was freaking joke and showed how many people care about college football on the west coast. UCLA was opening game against an ranked opponent. Or the fact that Washington played a ranked opponent at home and the stadium looked like it was half empty. This was pathetic and a joke. If a SEC team plays a Division 1 AA school then game is sold out. If a Pac 10 team plays a ranked opponent from another BCS conference then their are more empty seats than you can count. You can counter with "but the PAC 10 record in the last 22.5 months against the SEC is ......
Really nobody cares on the west coast or even the southeastern coast.

How can you want the conferences east of the mississippi river to pay attention and bost about the Pac 10 depth as a conference if people from west coast don't even care enough to go to the games?? Answer me that.
