It is pretty embarrassing, yet they claim they are in the South.

It looks like some cheap crap you expect to see in the Big XII. No excuse for any surfaces other than grass and dirt in the south.

If LSU was good enough they could've played this game on a "real" field

Hopefully Vitello Stadium will have real dirt and grass. And not as many meth heads.

It should be a requirement that you have actual dirt on a baseball field to host in postseason

Big 10 or 12 field. Embarrassing.

No they wait to do that in the showers

VOLS put the turf in 3 years ago at the request of Vitello so I seriously doubt they will go back to grass with the renovations.

Knoxville's more in line with the likes of Pittsburgh, PA than Memphis

Last time I was in Pittsburgh (2 weeks ago) they had grass everywhere you dork. STFU

That isn't what I'm talking about at all.
I'm talking about cultural ties. Knoxville identifies more with Appalachia than the Deep South. For instance, it has more in common with Pittsburgh than Memphis.
