Exactly. Every other sport in the world uses the regular season to determine a champ. CFB is the only sport that utilizes sport writers as the determining factor. Yeah, zero bias concerns there.

I think 8 teams would be a better “next step,” rather than 12.
There’s only so many college teams with a talent level to compete regularly, and win it all.
But it also opens the door for an upset on a Bammer, Clemson and Ohio st type with more teams in.
