It’s not accomplishments. It’s who’s been there before. That makes a big difference. Not the players. The coach that knows how to navigate it. It’s a completely different animal. This is coach V’s first go at it. That’s all I’m saying.

Every player on LSU’s roster has either been eliminated in the regionals (2018), or the Supers (2019). No idea if they have any holdovers from 2017, but if they did they likely suck since they’re still playing college ball.

May be Vitello’s first Super, but let’s not sit here and pretend Mainieri is some master tactician that knows just what buttons to push and the exact time

Tenner got completely out coached in the SEC championship game. That’s fact.

Now I want you to be specific, and tell me exactly what Vitello did in the championship game that would suggest he was ‘outcoached’. We were out of arms and couldn’t get the bats going, not sure what that has to do with coaching but I’m excited for your breakdown.

Which means that they have been there and done that which was the claim that you tried to refute. Now you're moving the goalposts to success in the postseason.

His 6 trips to Omaha and national title say otherwise.

Being out of arms is being out coached. I don’t see how you don’t see that. That’s coaching. Everyone knows the SEC tournament means nothing if you’re already gonna be in the big tournament.

That was always the knock on DVH. He didn’t care about it cause he knew he had to look forward to the regional. This year he changed. Granted we have a pitcher that’s damn near can’t be hit.

Like everyone else has said. You have to have been there before to understand coaching this time of year.

The most talented team doesn’t always win this time of year. You have to have a coach that’s been there and knows how to navigate it. Pretty simple!
