Florida lost to Tennessee (NC) by 3 in OT, and runner-up FSU by 11 in Tallahassee.
The SEC had the most teams (7) in the final AP top 25 (the Big 10 and Big 12 each had 5) of any conference. The SEC has only had that many finish in the top 25 3 times since then. As far as I can see, that is the most teams the SEC has ever had finish in the final AP top 25 poll.
