I will accept the raising of eyebrows at this point. I am not happy either, but I think we need to get the department back to making money before we start spending it. So we are in agreement there.
And I will defend Burleigh even though you are right, we waited too long, but she dominated the league. She started the program and did pretty well.
Along with her natty, she has 14 SEC Championships, Tenn is 2nd with 3. She also has 11 SEC tourney championships, Tenn is 2nd with 4. Hard to force a coach out at 50 years old with that resume.
But I agree overall it is not a trend you want to see continue. Maybe if Foley didn't let the facilities fall behind Stricklin could focus more on hiring and firing coaches?
