I know for a good while we (Georgia fans, including the infamous insider
) felt like Missouri had a big lead and we had no chance. I do believe that lead has shrunk and we are in it right now, but Missou could pull back ahead and make it a big lead again. You never know. It will be an interesting recruitment to watch. it could go back and forth right up until signing day.

A team's current success and fan enthusiasm for the program always concern me when the race is tight. Going into 2021 enthusiasm was sky-high for the program's future. MU's shaky start has damped that a bit. I still think the future looks bright for the program, but I wish he would have committed in August rather than October (as rumored). I have no idea how this will factor in, but at best it's neutral. In no scenario do I see it being a positive.
