Nebraska is on dubious ground right now unless they turn it around fast. Tennessee, however, was never a blue blood. Since the Poll Era began in 1936, Tennessee has only ever won a major poll national championship (AP or Coaches) twice - 1951 and 1998.

Michigan is too as the last 2 NC they won is 1948, and 1997

Same as Texas and Michigan. The only metric for blue blood they use is beating pre segregation teams.
