Not sure if that happened, but with the ties we have with SC it's possible Muschamp, or Kirby gave SC a heads up that he was a really good player.

i can assure you Muschamp did no such thing, there is absolutely no love lost between the two parties here...Westmoreland was offered by the Muschamp staff and when Beamer got on board they slowed all recruiting down to see who had offers and who would fit the new schemes...Mike Peterson was held over from the previous staff and was Westmorelands recruiter so when UGA stopped talking to Westmoreland often Peterson jumped in and the rest is where we are now. I do believe we got a great player with high upside and glad kirby and crew dropped the ball here.

The way chump and his staff left here and the inside shite they pulled with our db group there is no doubt Beamer wouldn't have anything to do with him.

Makes sense. It's not easy when you get fired to still have the warm and fuzzies for the team that fired you....even if you did deserve it.

I think you have a good solid player with a lot of upside. I do kind of think we told the kid to look around because of what another poster said. From what I have read and heard, we have gotten some attention from a couple of very high ranked players....and they are more along the DE and DT position.

I hope he does well, and I'm sure he will.

I lived in Griffin for many, many years and still have ties there. Griffin has been a huge football town for well over 50 years. They usually put out some extremely talented kids. Years ago, there was a saying, "The road to the NFL goes through Griffin, Georgia." No matter who the coach is, they seem to produce good quality kids. He'll do well for you.
