And the thing is they didn't even need to move up if Lance was always the guy they wanted. He almost certainly would have been there at 12. Reminds me of the Giants trading up to get Jones when they could probably have just stayed put and gotten him at their original draft slot.

You never know what people's boards look like and who would have traded up. I do believe other teams were looking at Lance unlike Jones where it felt like the only team that wanted him that high was the Giants. I am more shocked that so many people are confident he is a franchise NFL QB based on what is available on him. His workouts have to be epic
