What the heck is up with the LSU excitement over her?
Is it her Louisiana roots?
I’m thinking those kids know little to nothing about her.
Scratching my head.

Personally, I think it’s because she’s a Louisiana legend first. She lead her high school to four straight state championships, then went to La Tech and helped win the first women’s national championship and a second one. Then went on to win one as an assistant coach there.

Everyone is aware of her accomplishments at Baylor. When her son Kramer was playing baseball at LSU, she attended games as often as possible and the fan base loved that. She’s been on the wish list of many LSU fans for a very long time as well, especially after we went to five straight final fours and then the program declined with subsequent hires. I think you’re seeing a combination of all those things in why we are really excited about the hire.
