By far the most entertaining? I guess Holtz, Hatfield and Petrino didn't exist.

The only reason Nutt lasted 10 years because he was a brown noser. He was the first head coach since the 50s to survive back to back losing seasons. Because of his gift of the gab, his expectations were lower than his predecessors.

Mustain didn't make any public statements a bout Nutt and the team. Nutt didn't want Mustain because of his ties with Malzahn. Casey Dick was his QB and didn't have any intentions of starting Mustain ever again.

Nutt wanted Mustain gone. Nutt has such an inferior complex that he believed Malzahn would take his job. Allegations of sending Sam Olajubutu and other members of the defense surrounded Mustain in a locker room. Nutt and his goons forwarded a harassing email to other people that was titled dear Mr. Interception King.

Then Nutt was FOI on his phone after so much shenanigans and what was found was hundreds or thousands of text messages sent to a local news person.

This is what is covered in the last two years of the Nutt error. So much has been covered up for Nutt by the University that the evidence would be a lack of institutional control.

The reason Mustain in his own words went to USC is because he wanted to get as far away from Arkansas as possible. He wasn't happy here as the way he was treated. He didn't ask to be a highly rated player but to be respected as an individual which grown adults like Nutt never did.

You trash Mustain but put a shady character like Nutt on a high chair. low hanging fruit.

Let's break this down for fun, Nutt was the second most winningest coach in Arkansas history. He survived 2 losing seasons because we got in trouble with the NCAA and lost scholarships.. but hey, let's ignore the fact that we had a decade of losing seasons in the Long era... after Chad Morris, I'm pretty sure 98% would suck Nutt's Nuts to bring him back.

And let's not forget what it was like before he arrived, players killing themselves, fans only filling up the stadium 25%.. I was the university during that time and it was embarrassing. He came in and was exactly what the university needed.

I'm pretty sure a book was written where Mustain was quoted making disparaging comments about Nutt.. not sure how that's not considered public. When that book was published it was mid season and you can see Mustain completely change as a player. He lost the team, not the other way around.

That's far from the truth. Mustain got bullied by the seniors on the team because of his actions when joining the team. He wore T-shirts claiming to be their savior.. as a freshman. I don't know any football team ever that would stand a freshman coming in talking shite like that. If anything Nutt tried to control the situation and help Mustain but Mitch couldn't see that. In short, he brought that on himself and then he couldn't handle it when the players reacted.

If Nutt is guilty of anything it was not adjusting to technology and understanding just how fast things were advancing in college football. He couldn't handle that change and made mistakes in the end. It ended ugly, but it was 10 years and he did a lot of amazing things for the university.

That's silly, I'm sure stuff was covered but that's football, get over it.

He left because he was a pussy that couldn't handle the game at this level. He wasn't happy about the way he was treated because he wanted to be treated like a god like he was in highschool.. he wanted that to carry over to college and hit a brick wall. He came in thinking people would just bow down to him and he got his arse kicked. Things got ugly and he had to leave. I wouldn't say all of it is on him, certainly a good percentage of it is on his crazy arse mom too. What kind of mom allows the media into your house day in and day out to.. monitor your child the way she did.

He got treated like he was Lebron James in high school and he was no Lebron. He couldn't handle the reality check and quit the team. Like I've said before, okay high school QB playing in an offense that took advantage of high school defenses.. the real star player on that team was Damian Williams.. but hey, nobody is counting right?

I'm so sick of hearing about how Mustain was mistreated, he acted like a bitch and got treated like a bitch. That's the end of the story.
