You act like it’s impossible to change culture. Texas losing some of their boosters isn’t going to put them so far back that they can’t win again. You’re exaggerating how much support they’re losing. Just watch them have 1 legit season and it’ll all come right back.

I really don't think I am. Texas is changing, and Austin/UT are changing faster than the rest of the state. There's a reason nobody expects UCLA to compete for titles anymore. It's a great school, and a storied program with a lot of history, but it's just never going to be a national powerhouse football school again. And the fans/admin are ok with that.
A&M won't escape this fate either, but we're 10 or 15 years behind UT in this shift. Honestly, if I'm predicting the future, there will probably come a day when Texas Tech is the last real football school in Texas.
