1) Michigan won a title (albeit split) in 1997.

2) The European Super League’s likely “core fifteen” is comprised of numerous clubs that aren’t presently living up to the success that one might assume a club of their popularity would experience. Accordingly, any collegiate football super conference would be far more likely to feature Michigan/Tennessee/Nebraska than Oregon/Wisconsin/Utah.
