That's the only thing I can think of which is why I asked. I thought maybe he was thinking of something else. Even if they do though, she has already said that she refused to let Guice apologize to her. So, by her own admission, LSU reached out to her to try to reach some sort of closure with it then. What would be the reason for LSU to have to pay her off now? Even if she were to drop her case, we've now moved oast that into whether or not Orgeron lied about his involvement.

I was referring more to the state investigation trying to determine if Orgeron/LSU lied about the alledged phone convo, rather than any potential financial settlement.

Coverup attempts usually end up falling apart, causing more damage than biting the bullet and dealing properly with problem players or staff would've caused.

Which LSU denies ever happened.

I think it will be most interesting if Segar actually testifies. Sharon Lewis is who they really need to ask. She seems like she would happily talk but then again she probably wants to keep her job.

Ms. Scott claimed Lewis was in the middle of it all the day that Coach O called.
