4th and 25 was bad enough on its own, but that loss also kept them out of Atlanta that year.
They've never been.
Both years Ole Miss managed to beat Bama, Arkansas, during one of the shittiest stretches in its history, beat them later in the season.

I’ll admit 4th and 25 stung. I lost faith in god, or perhaps gained faith in him as I said leaving the stadium “I know god exists because he hates us”, much to the dismay of my devote mother.
