People talk about his offense being the thing that killed us, but this was the biggest reason in my opinion. The dude would swing for the fences, finish as the kid's second choice, and had no plan B. I've said it before, but his biggest downfall was that he was too good of a guy to succeed at a high-major program. He never over-recruited and never played the recruiting game. It seemed like every year we'd go into the season with 3 unfilled scholarships which puts your team on thin ice where injuries are concerned.

Wasn't there a year where our only signee was Devonta Pollard? That shot back quick. Dakota Slaughter, a walk on, played a good bit.
