Les Miles hasn't been the head coach at LSU in almost 5 years and the events in question happened like 8 years ago.

Serious question (yeah, I know, what a crazy notion among all the trolling and joking in this thread).

Does anyone think there may have been whispers between ADs about 'something' in his past kept Les from getting more offers after LSU? Yeah, I know his reputation for a dinosaur offense wasn't going to attract really big programs but here's a guy with one losing season (his first), 14 straight bowl games, a national title and another title game appearance in 15 seasons as a head coach and the only offer he can get is Kansas - and even that takes 3 years despite him telling everyone he still wanted to coach?

I've never heard about anything like that.

I've heard that he interviewed for some other jobs but I doubt he's an impressive interview in these times of offensive revolution.

Fact is, Miles is just an average coach outside of his time at LSU.
