Sorry to hear that Buck.

It took me down for 16 days. Went to the hospital and they IV’d some meds and it turned me around. I still have a cough almost 3 weeks later. Hope your wife’s aunt pulls through.

It kicked my arse. Fever just never stops and the lower respiratory issues. I felt slight nausea the whole time and a slew of other things. Not pleasant.

Lanier you shared that story and when my wife took me to the hospital she went in to let them know about my condition. When we walked in a nurse took me directly in and I only got to say goodbye to my wife. After all the stories I have heard like the one you shared. I really thought that was the last time I would see my wife.

Good thoughts your way Buck

Dude,I have not been keeping up much here. I did not even know you got it. How are you doing now? It certainly hits some people harder than others and I dont even think it always has to do with pre-existing conditions. My wife tells me stories from the hospital that just floor me.

I have a "facebook friend". Actualy we have met a few times. She is sort of a celebrity in the Alabama fishing scene. She would laugh if she heard that. She got covid back in the summer. As far as I know, she did not have any pre-existing things that were odd. She is still down from it. I saw a few days ago where she was bragging about taking a 1/2 mile walk and not needing her oxygen tank. Couldnt believe it.

On the other hand, both my parents got it, who are in their mid 70's, and just basically breezed right through it. Odd

When I was hospitalized for my Gall Bladder / Pancreatitis back in the summer, I will say that I was scared to death. I have never been in the hospital and here I was in there and they thought I have covid to boot. No visitors and no idea what the hell was going on. That is a bad spot to be in

How are you now?
