Yes. A Q2 loss is bad. Especially when it was a blowout.

If LSU doesn't start playing better down the stretch this conversation is extremely relevant. It isn't like the SEC is acknowledged as some kind of bastion of college basketball

They better start playing better or they are anything but a lock

It was a rhetorical question. That Q2 loss dropped LSU all the way from 28 in the NET rankings to 29, so in the context of NET rankings, which is why I specified it the way I did, no it really wasn't that bad of a loss. It's also their only Q2 or worse loss on the season. 8 teams above LSU in the NET rankings have 2 or more Q2 or worse losses, 10 more teams have 1 Q2 or worse loss. So, if you want to do the math on that, of the 28 teams ranked 1-28 in NET, only 10 teams don't have a Q2 or worse loss on the season.
