All of this. I hope the appropriate heads will roll, but I’m not holding my breath.

I had to leave my place, and I’m staying at my parents. Dealing with my mothers constant text notification ring tones seems like a fair price to pay for a warm bed and power...but just barely.

But seriously, I feel for the old folks, and parents with little kids. Hope yinz are hanging in there.

Sounds like we are the only people I know that has not lost power at all, we have a well so if we do lose power we'll loose water as well. Spent the day trying to get my mom's well repaired as she's been without water for 3 days now, pump is busted to hell and all pipes in well house are shot, going to try again tomorrow if the blackouts stop. The plumbing sections at Lowes and Home Depot in San Antonio look like a Black Friday sale at Walmart, absolutely insane. Looks like the coastal fisheries in the state are going to be wiped out, lots of dead fish from Matagorda to Port Mansfield.
