It's never too late. I'm probably grasping here but since the first time I saw Nix play he has always reminded me of Brett Favre. I'm not sure about the arm strength but most everything else is similar, same size, same style, same mentally and even the same accuracy issues. Nix is actually ahead of Favre at this point in their careers by a decent margin. I say all that to simply point out that it isn't too late. That gunslinger/do it myself mentality can be a positive especially leadership wise. Just need some of the rough edges smoothed out so he can make the easy plays from the pocket when it's there.

Maybe. Never even saw Farve until late in his college career. I think a big difference is fundamentals. Now like I said, I would have to go back and watch Fresh/Soph Farve, but it seemed his issue on accuracy wasn't really accuracy and bad mechanics, it was that he was a true gunslinger and would make a light of high risk throws into tight coverage. High risk, high reward. He drove coaches crazy with that his entire career.
