Is this the longest offseason in the history of college football?

I know it is in modern history.
But like during The Civil War or WWI
Was there a longer offseason?
We will go through two full years since LSU won the National Championship.
I’m hoping we can have a legitimate college football season this year.

Last offseason was worse, IMO. No spring and the late start. Not to mention the uncertainty of even having a season.

Absolutely!
So ready to get back to a season where:
- the best players in the country actually play
- players win awards because of what they did and not because other players got sick / had games cancelled
- the entire country actually participates and is interested
Ughhh!

I can’t wait to see how that LSU returning Oline does against teams at full strength. Probably a good thing y’all “ didn’t care” this season.
