This game is a shadow of its former self; it used to be an event. People would make every effort to attend...it was a BIG deal.
Now, the game has been moved from Ladd Stadium to South Alabama's home field, the "North and South" has been replaced by "American and National," and half of the athletes option out.

When I was a junior in high school in Jan. '96 my dad and I went to a couple of Senior Bowl practices. There were a lot of famous coaches and players there and it was pretty cool. Jimmy Johnson had just been hired by the Dolphins and there was a lot of attention surrounding him while he was there.
