i think he is full of shite personally. if he didn't care about losing his job I don't think he would have job hopped so much.
Not saying that is wrong of him to change jobs but I don't think he is being genuine. Maybe he only recently decided he didn't care about losing his job where as he did before? Who knows.

It doesn't take a psychologist to see that he's responding to some "seat-is-hot" rumblings he's aware of.
