We have recruited heavily on the pitching side. These guys will need to produce. We can't have starting pitchers lobbing 87 mph fastballs. The hitters in this league are too good. I am looking at coaching to get guys in who can compete.

If all remain committed we have a decent hitting group coming in the next signing class.
As good as Butch has been with arm care the past couple of seasons have been weird. And yes we have signed a lot of pitchers that need to develop and be weekend contributors.
You expect a kid coming in that throws 88-90 to increase 1 mph velocity each year and with college level instruction to increase spin rate as well.
