What Texas fans haven't realized yet is that Fisher has built something sustainable at A&M. Will A&M ever win a championship? I don't know, because there is an element of luck in that. What I do know is that Fisher has changed A&M into an SEC team with a hard-nosed defense, and the ability to run the football on offense. A team capable of staying in the T10 consistently ...

The interesting part is that the success last year was with a bunch of three star Sumlin players that bought in to his vision. The next wave of players are all rated higher, and have learned from the seniors about what it takes to be successful

A&M will look different on offense next year, because the next QB isn't a game manager like Mond. Don't know if it will be better, but it will definitely be different. As far as talent goes, Fisher has raised the profile for A&M that we are no longer entirely dependent on Texas for talent. Horns will get some, and we will get some - always has been this way

2022 class is looking really good, and it doesn't matter what Texas does anymore - we will be just fine going forward because our trench recruiting is next level. Pretty soon we will be playing the elite in the SEC on an even playing field, which hasn't happened yet. Best is yet to come for A&M

For every Jameis Winston, EJ Manuel, or Christian Ponder in Jimbo's program, there has been a Dalvin Cook, DeVonta Freemen, or James Wilder. Jimbo coaches up the talent he recruits.

I agree. Never winning the West or the SEC is sustainable at A&M
