This book should be required reading for football, but more importantly about life. What is in it cannot be explained.. only praised.

Bear : The Hard Life and Good Times of Alabama's Coach Bryant

by John Underwood and Paul W. Bryant

One paragraph about recruiting has come to mind recently. He wrote about paying players to be on his team. To paraphrase, he said he had done it both ways... but paid players will quit on you.
