I’ve found this entire COVID situation to be an interesting study in politics and people. Normally principled, rational people have gone over the edge.

I agree. It is amazing how "radical" it made people. both ways. You have the people who believe everybody is going to die and we are all doomed and you have the "Its just like the flu", its all political people. The re did not seem to be many people in the middle. Which is where I was, seemingly all alone, the entire time.

I will be happy to get the vaccine when it is available to me. I have taken the flu vaccine for many years and it has worked well for me. I havent grown any new arms or legs at this point so I think it has been helpful

I think the virus would be minimal right now if people would have just taken basic precautions. It wasnt that difficult but we are humans and it come at a time where half the country wanted to fight the other half.

You’re not alone there. A lot of us are there. Unfortunately Our country has been taken over by doom and gloom media and social media which sets forth these rules for acceptable behavior. So people outwardly project this bullshite on facebook, insta, Twitter all in the hopes that others will see it and elevate their social media score. Politicians realize this and use it to seize power.

Remove social media from the equation and you’d see a lot more folks in the middle.
