Because he could

If he can to UGA, why hasn’t he?

Jesus christ, man Phillip Fulmer is a spiteful a-hole, always has been. When push comes to shove and he finds himself backed into a corner, he always diverts the attention to someone else. He has his entire career. Again, why are you taking a tongue and cheek comment made about Fulmer so seriously and trying to psycho-analyze a benign comment? So, like I said, you are clearly too young to understand why Fulmer's name has been brought up so much in this context today because you are too busy getting defensive about whether or not UGA/Kirby are in trouble. Relax, buddy, it's going to be ok.

But you asked about what he did to Alabama. Albert Means (a Memphis recruit) was being recruited by both Alabama and Tennessee. He ended up at Alabama. Fulmer called the NCAA and snitched on Alabama for doing in recruitment what he had already been doing. He just lost the battle for Means, got mad about it, and turned in Alabama. Alabama ended up on probation for that.

From the sounds of things, some of these issues with Pruitt paying recruits have to do with guys recruited by both Tennssee and Georgia. So, do you find it odd that people would matter of factly say Fulmer is going to go after Georgia? Or do you really want to go back and forth with this for another hour to "win" a pointless argument over a tongue and cheek comment that was obvious to anyone over the age of 30? Has it really bothered you this much all day that people have been posting about UGA being "Fulmer'd"? Did you really take all of that seriously?
